About Me
Artist/ crafter/ food and coffee lover from New Zealand.
Growing up with a paintbrush in one hand and a magnifying glass in the other, the wonders of nature and my passion for art have followed me throughout my life, and have now come together to inspire me to create works that convey the diversity and beauty of both.
My materials are sourced locally, the branches are cut into small slices, then dried, sanded and primed for painting. I then create my designs and paint each one by hand. Once they are dry they are coated on all sides with a matte acrylic finish, to protect from damage and bring out the colours in the artwork. Finally the pieces either have a magnet glued to the back or are put on a small wooden stand.
